Why are we passionate about pain management?
Over the past few years, Dr. Julie O’Brien has developed a deep passion for veterinary pain management. Her journey began after experiencing her own spinal injury, where traditional Western medicine fell short in offering relief. This led her to explore alternative therapies, and now, she is dedicated to translating these healing modalities to her veterinary patients.
In 2024, Dr. O’Brien completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture through the world-renowned Chi University, a leading authority in the field. In 2023, she completed extra training and became Fear-Free Certified, ensuring her patients experience as little stress as possible during care. Seeing the fear and anxiety many pets experience in traditional vet clinics inspired her to create a different experience—one that prioritizes the comfort of your pet in their familiar home environment.
Dr. O’Brien’s approach combines the best of traditional Western medicine with alternative and holistic therapies like acupuncture, herbal medicine, laser therapy, and lifestyle medicine. Her goal is to provide the most exceptional care possible for your pet.
