Dr. Julie O’Brien is passionate about bringing gentle, compassionate veterinary care to the pets of Wakulla County and beyond. With a special focus on acupuncture and integrative medicine, she’s dedicated to finding the best treatment options for your furry family members. Her additional training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine—including acupuncture, herbal medicines, and lifestyle medicine —allows her to offer a truly unique and personalized approach to your pet’s health care.

Dr. O’Brien understands how much your pets mean to you, and her goal is to keep them happy and healthy in the most natural way possible. Whether your pet needs help managing pain, a chronic disease, or you’re looking for alternative therapies, Dr. O’Brien is here to provide expert, loving care.

When she’s not working, you’ll often find her exploring the great outdoors, hiking, or traveling. She also loves volunteering at the Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory in Panacea, FL, where she enjoys using her veterinary skills to provide care to sea turtles undergoing rehabilitation.
